THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF BAGUIO CITY, REPRESENTED BY MAURICIO G. DOMOGAN, CITY MAYOR; ANTI-SQUATTING AND ANTI-ILLEGAL STRUCTURE COMMITTEE, REPRESENTED BY ATTY. CARLOS M. CANILAO; …

Decisions / Signed Resolutions January 5, 2015 FORMER SIXTEENTH DIVISION CORALES, J.:

CORALES, J.:

On June 23, 2014, this Court rendered a Decision[1] disposing the case as follows:

WHEREFORE, the instant petition for certiorari is DENIED. Accordingly, the January 24, 2011 and the June 5, 2012 Resolutions of the National Commission on Indigenous People-CAR in NCIP CASE No. 05-CAR-10 are hereby AFFIRMED.

SO ORDERED.

On July 30, 2014, petitioner, the City Government of Baguio filed its Motion for Reconsideration.[2] It is noted that no Comment to said motion was filed by respondents as per verification from the Court’s Case Management Information System[3] dated January 5, 2015.

The motion for reconsideration is a mere reproduction of the arguments raised in petitioner’s petition for certiorari. We do not find any bona fide effort on the part of petitioner to present additional matters or reiterate its arguments in a different light. Thus, there is no need to revisit what was already presented before this Court when We rendered the June 23, 2014 Decision.

ACCORDINGLY, the motion for reconsideration is hereby DENIED for lack of merit.

SO ORDERED.

Villon , J., Chairperson and Macalino, JJ., concur.
