PROCLAMATION NO. 1445, September 16, 2026
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 23 SEPTEMBER 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF TAWI-TAWI
WHEREAS, the Province of Tawi-Tawi will mark the celebration of its 53rd Anniversary on 27 September 2026, which falls on a Sunday;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Tawi-Tawi to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Governor requested that 23 September 2026, Wednesday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 27 September 2026;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Tawi-tawi be given full opportunity to participate and enjoy the celebration;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Wednesday, 23 September 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Tawi-Tawi.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
