Decisions / Signed Resolutions THIRD DIVISION DE GUIA-SALVADOR, R., J.:

DE GUIA-SALVADOR, R., J.:

A careful perusal of the instant petition for certiorari shows the following defects that warrant its outright dismissal.

First, the petition contains no specific statement of material dates showing when petitioners received copy of the assailed June 9, 2014 Resolution[1] of the NLRC in LAC No. 05-001358-14, as required by Section 3, Rule 46 of the 1997 Revised Rules of Civil Procedure (Rules).

Second, the Verification and Certification of Non-Forum Shopping[2] is defective for lack of competent evidence of affiant’s identity in the jurat, as required under Section 12, Rule II of A.M. No. 02-8-13-SC, amending Section 12(a), Rule II of the 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice.

Third, copies of the following relevant pleadings and other material portions of the record as would support the allegations of the petition are not appended, contrary to Section 3, Rule 46 of the Rules, viz.: (1) private respondent’s Complaint for illegal dismissal, (2) the parties’ respective Position Papers and Replies, (3) the corresponding annexes thereto, and (4) petitioners’ June 20, 2014 Motion for Reconsideration of the assailed June 9, 2014 Resolution of the NLRC.

WHEREFORE, the petition for certiorari is DENIED DUE COURSE and accordingly DISMISSED.

SO ORDERED.
