Counsel for defendant-appellant received said notice on July 8, 2014; hence, the last day to file appellant’s brief is August 22, 2014. This Court received the appellant’s brief on September 4, 2014 beyond the reglementary period for filing of the brief.
WHEREFORE, the appeal is DISMISSED pursuant to Sec. 1(e), Rule 50 of the Revised Rules of Court, as amended.
