PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES, PLAINTIFF-APPELLEE, VS. ALIM BANTUGAN Y ABDULA, ACCUSED-APPELLANT.

Decisions / Signed Resolutions June 28, 2013 FORMER ELEVENTH DIVISION INTING, J.:

INTING, J.:

This is a motion for reconsideration[1] filed by accused-appellant Alim Bantugan y Abdula of the decision[2] of this Court promulgated on June 28, 2013. Plaintiff-appellee filed a comment[3] on the motion for reconsideration on October 4, 2013.

After examining the allegations in the instant motion for reconsideration, this Court finds the same to be mere reiteration of the matters raised in accused-appellant’s brief[4] dated August 9, 2011, that were studied, considered and passed upon by this Court in rendering the decision sought to be reconsidered. In other words, no new valid and justifiable reason was raised by accused-appellant to convince this Court to amend, much less, set aside its findings.

WHEREFORE, the motion for reconsideration is DENIED.

SO ORDERED.
