Acting on the Joint Motion To Dismiss[1] dated October 10, 2014, submitted by the parties, assisted by their respective counsel, stating among others, that they have entered into an amicable settlement wherein petitioners Rebecca B. Venturero (surviving wife) and her son William V. Venturero received the total amount of FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-THREE THOUSAND PESOS (PHP443,000.00) as full and complete satisfaction of their claims from private respondents, (as evidenced by the Release of All Rights,[2] Pagpapaubaya ng Lahat ng Karapatan,[3] Affidavit of Heirship[4] and Receipt of Payment[5] all dated October 10, 2014, attached as Annexes “A”, “B”, “C” and “D”, respectively), as prayed for by the parties, the instant case is now considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
