WHEREAS, on 16 September 2026, Wednesday, the Municipality of San Ildefonso, Province of Ilocos Sur will commemorate the Basi Revolt of 1807;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of San Ildefonso be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR.,  do hereby declare Wednesday, 20 May 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of San Ildefonso, Province of Ilocos Sur.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
