DECLARING SATURDAY, 05 SEPTEMBER 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS
Presidential Proclamations August 28, 2026
WHEREAS, on 05 September 2026, Saturday, the City of General Santos will mark the celebration of the 28th Tuna Festival;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Saturday, 05 September 2026, a special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
