It appears that, when the private respondents were required to comment on the petition filed in this case, the petitioners had taken it upon themselves to give to the private respondents the sum of P2,498,640.00 as full and complete settlement of all monetary claims that the latter have against the former as adjudicated by the NLRC in their favor in NLRC LAC No. 03-000266-14 on September 30, 2014. In view thereof, the parties filed in this Court a joint motion to withdraw the petition filed in this case. Attached to their joint motion are copies of the receipt of payment signed by the private respondents and the Release of All Rights signed by them.
We find the said joint motion to withdraw petition to be in order and, therefore, hereby GRANT it.
Consequently, the petition filed in this case is hereby considered as WITHDRAWN and this case is deemed as CLOSED and TERMINATED.
Let the DCC make an immediate entry of judgment in this case.
