RESERVING A PARCEL OF LAND BELONGING TO THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN ISLA DE BALUT, DISTRICT OF TONDO, CITY OF MANILA, FOR SUBDIVISION AND DISPOSITION IN FAVOR OF THE OCCUPANTS…

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture
and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I,
Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve for
subdivision and disposition in favor of the bona fide occupants the parcel of
land of the public domain situated in Isla de Balut, District of Tondo, City of
Manila, which is more particularly described as follows:

“A parcel of land (The Proposed Subdivision of a
Parcel of the Public Domain which was formerly the Delta of Estero de Sunog
Apog), situated in the District of Tondo, City of Manila. Bounded on the E.,
along line 1-2, by private property of Mrs. Carolina L. Gozon; on the SE.,
along line 2-3, by extension of Rodriguez Street; on the SW., along line 3-4,
by Mouth of Estero de Vitas; on the N. and NW., along lines 4-5-6; by the City
of Manila’s Motor Pool and Composting Plant; and on the E., along line 6-7, by
Berkencotter Real Estate Subdivision and along line 7-1, by Estero de Sunog
Apog (surveyed under SWO-27603), extension of proposed street (NPC Plan No.
Rp-267) and Estero de Sunog Apog (subdivided under NPS Plan RP-267). Beginning
at a point marked 1 on plan, being S. 83° 22′ W., 353.64 meters from B.L.L.M.
55, Manila Cad., thence S. 30° 37′ E., 14.43 meters to point 2; thence S. 64°
42′ W., 85.36 meters to point 3; thence N. 59° 57′ W., 173.37 meters to point
4; thence S. 81° 49′ E., 147.06 meters to point 5; thence N. 66° 05′ EL, 77.68
meters to point 6; thence S. 2° 34′ E., 3.58 meters to point 7; thence S. 4°
01′ E., 45.02 meters to point of beginning; containing an approximate area of .
9,545 square meters.

NOTE: ALL DATA are approximate and subject to
change based upon approval of the proposed subdivision.

The land herein reserved shall be subdivided by
the Director of Lands into convenient sized lots for disposition in accordance
with law in favor of said occupants, excluding therefrom such portions as may
be needed for the opening of adequate streets and alleys, for the construction
of drainage works, and other necessary public improvements. The subdivision
shall conform with the plan to be prepared by the National Planning Commission.
In the disposition of the subdivision lots, the Social Welfare Administration
shall screen and process the applications of bona fide occupants to determine who
are deserving and entitled to priority in the acquisition of the same. Should
the lots be not sufficient for distribution among the bona fide occupants, the
award thereof shall be by raffle, and those who fail to get lots will be given
priority in other government resettlement projects.
