SJS GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION, REPRESENTED BY PROPRIETOR STEPHEN GO SANTIAGO, PETITIONER, VS. NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS COMMISSION–8TH DIVISION, MARK ANTHONY ABIERA, REIGEN BONILLA, LI…
BORJA, J.,:
On June 4, 2013, private respondents filed a Manifestation[2] adopting the Comment with Prayer for a Recomputation of Awards[3] they filed on February 1, 2013 as their memorandum.
Petitioner, on the other hand, filed a motion for the issuance of a Temporary Restraining Order after it received an Entry of Judgment from the NLRC, which was promptly denied by this Court in a Resolution[4] dated May 24, 2013. Per Judicial Records Division’s (JRD) report, no memorandum was filed by petitioner as of March 10, 2014.[5]
ACCORDINGLY, the instant petition is now deemed SUBMITTED for DECISION sans petitioner’s memorandum.
Notwithstanding the development of the case, the Postmaster, Cagayan de Oro City, is DIRECTED to explain in writing within ten (10) days from notice why this Court should not cite him in contempt of court for failure to reply to this Court’s tracer dated July 19, 2013 seeking information relative to the case at bench.
SO ORDERED.
