ENJOINING ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES TO SUPPORT THE “BAYANIHAN NG BAYAN” ON 25-28 JANUARY 2012

In view of the grave destruction in Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro
City brought about by Typhoon “Sendong,” the “Bayanihan ng Bayan” event
will be held on 25-28 January 2012 in Iligan City . The event aims to
illustrate the collective response and various ways Filipinos can help
the victims of the typhoon. It also intends to gather commitments from
all over the country to rebuild the devastated areas of Northern
Mindanao .

In this regard, officials and employees in all departments,
bureaus and agencies of the national government, including
Government-Owned and -Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) are hereby
enjoined to support and participate in the activities for the success of
the event.
This Circular shall take effect immediately.
