AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5921 (AS AMENDED) SO AS TO REDUCE THE LENGTH OF THE PHARMACY COURSE

Presidential Decrees May 30, 1984

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 5921 (as amended by Presidential
Decree No. 1363) requires completion of a pharmacy course of not less than five
(5) years in order to qualify as candidate for the Board examination in
Pharmacy;

WHEREAS, the Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the Board
of Pharmacy and the Philippine Pharmaceutical Association have taken the
position that is desirable to integrate overlapping courses and delate

educational standards;

Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby
amend Republic Act No. 5921 (as amended) by deleting paragraph D and replacing

satisfactorily completing a standard pharmacy course of not less than four (4)
academic years.”
