PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1704, July 30, 1980

TRANSFERRING, CEDING AND CONVEYING TO THE PHILIPPINE TOURISM AUTHORITY A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN LOCATED IN LAOAG CITY, FOR TOURISM PURPOSES.

By virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, I,
FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby transfer,
cede and convey to the Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA) for tourism
development purposes certain parcel of land of the public domain located in Laoag
City, more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land (of lots 1-G, M, CC, JJ, KK, MM, of the subdivision plan
Csd-5183, PCN, No. ), situated in the Barrio of Balacad, City of Laog, Province
of Ilocos Norte, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the NE, along line 1-2 by Lot 854,
G-9866, along line 2-3 of the subdivision plan Csd-5183, on the NW, along lines
3-4 by 1-F, along line 4-5 by Lot 1-EE, along line 5-6 by Lot 1-DD, along line
6-7 by Lot 1-CC, all of the subdivision Csd-5183, along line 7-8 by Barangay
Road, along line 8-9 by Lot 1-L, along line 9-10 by Lot 1-K, along line 10-11 by
Lot 1-J, all of the subdivision Csd-5183, on the EE, along line 11-12 by
Barangay Road, along line 12-13-14 by Lot 1-F, along line14-15 by Lot 1-NN of
the subdivision plan Csd-5183, and on the SW, along lines 15-16-17-18m by China
Sea, along line 18-19 by Lot 1-HH of the subdivision plan. Beginning at a point
marked “1” on plan being S. 16 deg. 55’W., 240.69 m. from B.B.N. No. 1-1, Bo.
Balacad, Laog, Ilocos Norte.

true, date of survey April 8-24,
1980.

The Philippine Tourism Authority may not alienate the said parcel of land or
any portion thereof without the prior approval of the President of the
Philippines, although it may encumber the same with any government financing
institution for development purposes.

All laws, decrees, proclamations and executive orders inconsistent herewith
are hereby revoked or amended accordingly.

This Decree shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of July, in the year of Our Lord,
nineteen hundred and eighty.
