AMENDMENT TO THE RACING RULES (RES. NO. 96-06)

Please be informed that the Board, in its meeting on January 11, 1996, resolved to amend the following rules:

HELMET AND WHIP IN THE WEIGH-IN AND WEIGH-OUT OF JOCKEYS

In the weigh-in and weigh-out of jockeys, the HELMET AND WHIP shall be included if the required handicap weight of the jockey is 54 kgs. and above; but if the handicap weight required is below 54 kgs. the HELMET AND WHIP shall be excluded.

SEC. 110, PAR 6, shall now read as follows:

6) For disobeying the orders or regulations of the PHILRACOM or the racing club, or for disorderly or improper conduct, in his relations with the officials of the PHILRACOM or the Racing Club, or for insulting them when the latter are in the performance of their duties, by revocation of his license by the PHILRACOM taking into consideration the recommendation of the Board of Stewards AND/OR a fine of not less than P5,000.00 which shall accrue to the PHILRACOM.

The above rules shall take effect immediately.
