DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 17 TO 23, 1950, AS AVIATION WEEK

In order to arouse among our people a widespread
interest in aviation to the end that they may realize and appreciate the vital
role it plays in the security and progress of the nation, I, Elpidio Quirino,
President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do
hereby declare the period from December 17 to 23, 1950, as Aviation Week, and
enjoin all government officials and employees and all citizens of the
Philippines to lend their full, cooperation to its observance.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done at the City of Manila, this 13th day of
November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the fifth.
