AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS TO HELP DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF HOLDING THE JOINT FIFTH WORLD ANTI-COMMUNIST LEAGUE CONFERENCE AND THE SEVENTEENT…
SECTION 1. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to help the Philippine Anti-Communist Movement defray the expenses for the holding of the Joint Fifth World Anti-Communist League Conference and the Seventeenth Asian People’s Anti-Communist League Conference at Manila in nineteen hundred and seventy-one.
The sum herein appropriated shall be made available immediately upon the approval of this Act, and be at the disposal of the Budget Commission exclusively for the Philippine Anti-Communist Movement: Provided, however, That no part of this appropriation shall be used for the purchase of equipment: And, provided, further,That any and all expenses out of this appropriation shall be subject to the usual government auditing procedures: Provided, finally, That a report of the result of the conference shall be rendered to the House of Representatives and the Senate by the Philippine delegation and a report on the accounting of the expense’s incurred shall be made by the General Auditing Office.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
