By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I,
Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No,
279, dated October 12, 1951, by designating the Director of the Institute of
Science and Technology as an additional member of the committee created
thereunder to take charge of the observance of Philippine National Science Week
from October 22 to 28, 1951.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the. Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 25th day of
October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the sixth.
