AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF SELECTED FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL COURT JUDGES AT THE JUDGE TO JUDGE DIALOGUE ON THE POWER OF THE JUDGE: TAKING CONTROL OF THE COURT PROCEEDINGS

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), the
Program Management Office (PMO), the Office of the Court Administrator
(OCA), in partnership with the American Bar Association-Rule of Law
Initiative (ABA-ROLI), will be conducting the second of the series of Judge-to-Judge Dialogues on the Power of the Judge: Taking Control of Court Proceedings which will be held on 16 November 2007, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Leyte Park Hotel, Tacloban City.

The following selected first and second level Court judges are required to attend md participate in this activity:

Regional Trial Courts

Municipal Trial Courts/Municipal Circuit Trial Courts/ Municipal Trial Court in Cities

Attendance in this seminar-workshop shall be MANDATORY and ON OFFICIAL TIME.

The participating judges should see to it that their
respective court calendars are properly managed and the parties
notified in advance of any cancelled hearing.

Formal business attire is required. No companion and substitution of participants shall be allowed.
