SEC. 3. The existing workforce shall be correspondingly increased. Upon prior consultation with the DEDVMH, the Department of Health (DOH), in coordination with the Department of Budget and Management and the Civil Service Commission, shall determine the additional plantilla positions to be created and filled up.
SEC. 4. The increase in bed capacity of the DEDVMH from fifty (50) to three hundred (300) beds shall be implemented consistent with the hospital’s five (5)-year development plan.
SEC. 5. The Secretary of the DOH shall immediately include the Department’s programs upon the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 6. If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect.
SEC. 7. All other laws, decrees, executive orders, and other administrative issuances or parts thereof which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby modified, superseded or repealed accordingly.
SEC. 8. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval
