The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in partnership with the children of Founding Chancellor Emeritus Justice Ameurfina Melencio-Herrera, will conduct the Founding Chancellor Emeritus Justice Ameurfina Melencio-Herrera Award for the Most Outstanding Professorial Lecturer, featuring the topic “The Writ of Amparo: The Philippine Experience So Far” by Chancellor Adolfo S. Azcuna on November 12, 2012 (Monday), at 2 p.m. at the PHIUA Training Center (PTC) in Tagaytay City.
