SADANG, J.:

For resolution is the Motion for Reconsideration[1] of petitioner Santos Aaron O. Pucan III, assailing this Court’s Decision dated August 19, 2014, the fallo of which reads:

WHEREFORE, the petition is DISMISSED. The Decision dated August 22, 2011 of the National Labor Relations Commission, in NLRC LAC No. 04-000359-11 (NLRC NCR M-07-09399-10) is AFFIRMED with MODIFICATION in that the Grade 10 disability benefit is increased from US $10,075.00 to US $17,954.00 and the 10% attorney’s fees shall be based on said amount.

SO ORDERED.

Private respondents Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc., Finaval SPA and Carlos C. Salinas, filed their Comment/Opposition[2] on October 17, 2014.

After a thorough scrutiny of the arguments interposed by petitioner, we find, and so hold, that there exists no cogent reason for us to modify, much less reverse and deviate from our previous findings and conclusions reached in our decision.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, the motion for reconsideration is DENIED.

SO ORDERED.
