On February 23, 2015, petitioner Roberto Ilao Hornilla and private respondents Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc., et al., thru counsel, filed with this Court their Joint Manifestation with Motion to Dismiss the Instant Petition for Certiorari[1] dated January 22, 2014 (sic), praying for the dismissal of the instant petition on the ground that the parties concerned have amicably settled this case.

Finding the Joint Manifestation with Motion to Dismiss the Instant Petition for Certiorari to be meritorious, the instant petition is hereby DISMISSED with prejudice. This petition, docketed as CA-G.R. SP No. 136073, is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
