SHARES OF THE NON-AFFILIATED PLANTERS’ ASSOCIATIONS IN THE P40.00/LKG.-BAG PRODUCER’S MARGIN

WHEREAS, there is a need to issue certain guidelines to be followed
by all concerned to effectively distribute the aforesaid shares in the
producer’s margin;

NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the powers vested in the
Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), it is hereby ordered that:

SECTION 1.       The following guidelines shall be observed and
followed-by all concerned in the distribution of the shares in the
P40.00/LKg.-Bag of the non-affiliated planters’ associations, to wit:

1.         Only the individual planter/association can make claim to
the shares of the unaffiliated planters’ associations in the
P40.00/LKg.-Bag producers’ margin.

2.         The subject planter or through his/her association shall
file a claim with the SRA, Philippine Sugar Center Bldg., North Ave.,
Quezon City attached therein a certification of the mill company of
his/her total production and net planter share of production for CY
1998-1999.

3.         The claim for planter share in the producer’s margin
shall be subject to the approval of the SRA Administrator and upon
approval, shall be computed pro-rata of the total non-affiliated
planters’ association shares.

4.         The SRA shall issue a check payment in the name of the
individual planter whose claim in the producer’s margin was duly
approved.

5.         The SRA shall distribute the check payment directly to
the individual planter, where the SRA shall send its personnel to the
different mill districts for the said purpose.

SECTION 2.        The deadline for the submission of claim shall not be later than 14 July 2000.    CHIEDS

SECTION 3.        This Order shall take effect immediately.

SECTION 4 .       Provisions of Sugar Orders,
Circular-Letters, rules and regulations inconsistent with or contrary to
this Sugar Order are hereby revoked, amended or modified accordingly.
