PROCLAMATION NO. 1372, August 30, 2007
DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 1 TO 9, 2007, AS “PRODUCTION AND OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT WEEK”
WHEREAS, PROMAP will be holding the 20th National Convention to be held at the New World Renaissance Hotel, Pasay Road, Makati City on September 6 and 7, 2007;
WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production and operations practitioners play in the development of the economy as well as in the manufacturing sector.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 1 to 9, 2007, as “Production and Operations Management Week” under the auspices of the Production and Operations Management Association of the Philippines.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
