Decisions / Signed Resolutions EIGHTH DIVISION REYES, JR., J.C., J.:
REYES, JR., J.C., J.:
On November 27, 2013, this Court required the defendants-appellants to file three (3) legibly typewritten, mimeographed or printed copies of their Appellants’ Brief with legible copies of the assailed Decision of the trial court, pursuant to Rule 44, Section 7 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, within forty five (45) days from receipt of notice (Rollo, p. 26).
As per Registry Return Receipt, defendants-appellants received a copy of the above quoted Notice on December 11, 2013, thus giving them until January 25, 2014, to file their Appellants’ Brief (Rollo, back of p. 26).
On March 3, 2014, the Judicial Records Division of this Court reported that as of even date no Appellants’ Brief has yet been submitted by the defendants-appellants (Rollo, back of p. 26).
Accordingly, for failure to file their Appellants’ Brief within the reglementary period, the Appeal is now deemed ABANDONED and thus ordered DISMISSED pursuant to Section 1(e), Rule 50 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure.
SO ORDERED.
