SEACREST MARITIME MANAGEMENT, INC., PETITIONER, VS. PANEL OF VOLUNTARY ARBITRATORS COMPOSED OF ATTY. EDGAR C. RECIÑA (CHAIRMAN), CAPT. JAIME AQUINO (MEMBER) AND ATTY. ALLAN S. M…
GALAPATE-LAGUILLES, J:
Habagat thereafter filed a Manifestation[8] stating that he would no longer file the required comment to the petition in view of the amicable settlement between him and Seacrest. In addition to all the documents the parties attached to their Joint Manifestation, Habagat also appended in his Manifestation the Minutes of the Meeting[9] dated October 30, 2014 where the amicable settlement was approved and the case was dismissed with prejudice by the NCMB.
Finding the compromise agreement to have been validly executed and not contrary to law, morals, good customs, public order, or public policy, the same is noted and made part of the records of the case.
ACCORDINGLY, in view of the said agreement, the petition for certiorari is hereby DISMISSED.
SO ORDERED.
