In the Mediator’s Report[1] dated 21 October 2014, the parties amicably settled the case. A Notice of Waiver and/or Dropping of CA-G.R. SP No. 133814, Miguel P. Castro, et al., v. Atty. Evelyn G. Maca, et al.[2] was attached thereto which, in effect, has now rendered the instant Petition moot and academic.
