On May 7, 2014, petitioners filed a Motion to Withdraw Petition[4] contending that the parties have agreed to amicably settle the case through a Release of all Rights[5] and Pagpapaubaya ng Lahat ng Karapatan[6] signed and executed by private respondent Leonard N. Villanueva. Petitioners likewise submitted to this Court an Affidavit of Claimant[7] executed by private respondent stating that he has received P5,855,700.00 as full and complete satisfaction of his claim; and, the parties’ Joint Motion to Dismiss/Satisfaction of Judgment[8] filed before the Arbitration Branch of the NLRC.
WHEREFORE, taking into account that the parties have mutually agreed to settle the case amicably, the instant Motion to Withdraw Petition is hereby GRANTED. Accordingly, this case is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
