CONTRERAS, J.:

For resolution is a Motion for Reconsideration^[1] filed by accused-appellant, through counsel, of Our Decisionp^[2] dated July 30, 2014, the decretal portion of which reads:

WHEREFORE, premises considered, the instant appeal is hereby DISMISSED and the assailed Decision rendered by Branch 25 of the Regional Trial Court of Misamis Oriental, Cagayan de Oro City, in Criminal Case No. 2004-514 is hereby AFFIRMED.

SO ORDERED.

After taking into consideration the instant motion, We find nothing persuasive therein that could sway Us to jettison the challenged Decision. Further, We find that the arguments set forth therein are but a rehash, repetition and/or restatement of the arguments/matters already passed upon by this Court, which were profoundly discussed in our Decision. There being no new matters for the Court to resolve, the motion is DENIED.

SO ORDERED.
