Petitioners filed a motion asking for a 30-day extension from February 26, 2014 within which to file their Petition for Review. Considering the provision of Section 1, Rule 42 of the Rules of Court, We granted petitioners an extension of only 15 days, which was until March 15, 2014.[1]

Petitioners, however, filed their Petition for Review[2] on March 27, 2014. Unfortunately, on such date, the extended period had long elapsed and the filing of the petition was already out of time.
IN VIEW OF THE FOREGOING, the petition is hereby DISMISSED.
