REQUIRING ALL MANING AGENCIES TO GIVE A WEEKLY UPDATE OF THE EFFECT OF THE GLOBAL CRISIS
manning agencies to give a weekly update of the effect of the global
crisis on their vessel enrollment and crew orders, all manning agencies
are mandated to submit said report every 10th and 25th of the month.
Failure of an agency to submit a report on the dates specified above
will hold them liable in accordance with the 2003 POEA Rules and
Regulations Governing the Recruitment and Employment of Seafarers.
(Agencies which have not submitted reports since the earlier POEA
Advisory 29 has been issued are required to submit a report on the
impact of the global crisis covering December 2008 to date).
The report form to be accomplished can be downloaded from the POEA website, http://www.poea.gov.ph, under the section “Maritime Employment Watch”. The accomplished form must be sent as an attachment to an email to: maritimewatch@ ymail.com.
