AMENDMENT TO SOME PROVISIONS OF THE NEW HANDICAPPING SYSTEM OF 2007

Please be informed that the Philracom Board, in its meeting held last March 7, 2007, resolved that certain provisions of the Handicapping System of 2007 be clarified/amended as follows:
Paragraph No. 5 is hereby clarified/amended as follows:
5. on 2 April 2007
• 2 YO horses will go to the new system
• 3 YO horses will go to the class division thru the old handicapping system with the following features: (validity until 31 December 2007)
• 3 YO horses will go to the class division thru the old handicapping system with the following features: (validity until 31 December 2007)
5.1 – The three (3) maiden divisions A, B, and C will be retained;
5.2 – The two (2) allowance divisions B and A will be retained;
5.3 – One group down after losing at 52 kgs.
5.4 – One group down for three (3) months vacation for non-winners and five (5) months vacation for winners provided that the maximum is four (4) groups down in a year;
5.5 – Additional weights for winners and placers as follows:
• Winners’ additional 2 kgs.
• 2nd placer additional 1 kg.
• 3rd placer additional .5 kgs.
• 2nd placer additional 1 kg.
• 3rd placer additional .5 kgs.
• 4th placer to the last minus 1 kg.
5.6 – Cancellation of the no-bearing races in lieu of 2 wins for every class division race.
