JOINT COMMUNIQUÉ ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF MADAGASCAR AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES
The Government of the Republic of Madagascar and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines,
Desirous of promoting mutual understanding and strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries,
Guided by the principles and purposes of the Charter of the United Nations and international law,
Have decided to establish Diplomatic relations between them, in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic relations of 18 April 1961, as of the date of signing of this joint communiqué.
In witness thereof, the undersigned representatives, duly authorized by their respective Governments, have signed this Joint Communiqué in two original copies each in French and English, both texts being equally authentic.
