PAYMENT OF YEAR-END BONUS AND CASH GIFT FOR FY 2002
1.0 This
Circular is being issued to remind heads of all government entities
that existing rules provide that the year-end bonus and cash gift
authorized under RA No. 6686 as amended by RA No. 8441 and implemented
by Budget Circular (BC) No. 2000-18 dated September 6, 2000, whether in
full or the remaining one-half (1/2) thereof, shall be paid not earlier
than November 15 of each year.
2.0 Consistent therewith, payment of the said benefits for FY 2002 shall be made not earlier than November 15, 2002.
3.0 The Notice of Cash Allocation for the fourth quarter includes the amount for the purpose.
4.0 Please be guided accordingly.
