Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 00-411 dated 29 December 2000 and Resolution No. 08-269 dated 29 May 2008, of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the Blue Wave Marikina as Information Technology Center located along Sumulong Highway corner G. Fernando Avenue, Marikina City, which stands on a parcel of land of the private domain with an area of Seven Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Four and 07/100 (7,624.07) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

A parcel of land as decribed herein, being a portion of Lot 6, Pcs-34498) situated in Barangay Sto. Nino, Marikina City, Metro Manila.

Bounded on the NE., along lines 1-2 by Lot 6-B, of the subdivision plan; on the SE., along line 2-3 by Lot 6-B-2, (LRC) Psd-317544; on the SW., along lines 3-4 by Lot 8, (LRC) Pcs-25783 (Sumulong Highway); and on the SW., along line 4-12 & 12-1 by Lot 9, (LRA) Pcs-34498 (Fernando Avenue).
