PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 300, September 24, 1973

GRANTING PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP TO WILLIAM SHEEHY SCHAARE.

Presidential Decrees September 24, 1973



WHEREAS, William Sheehy Schaare, a citizen of West Germany
who was born and has lived in the Philippines since birth, has, by his long and
continuous service to the Filipino people in the field of technology, proven
himself worthy of all the rights, privileges and prerogatives of a citizen of
this country; and

WHEREAS, since his birth on November 23, 1937 in Cebu City
and his marriage to the former Miss Mabel Daban of Iloilo City, he and his
family have decided to make this country their permanent home to which they
shall forever owe and pledge their allegiance and loyalty;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the
Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution as
Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and pursuant to
Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and General Order No. 1, dated
September 22, 1972, do hereby grant Philippine Citizenship to William Sheehy
Schaare with all rights, privileges and prerogatives appurtenant thereto.

This Decree is made part of the law of the land and shall take effect
immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 24th day of September, in the year of Our
Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-three.
