1995 FLOOR PRICES OF AIR-CURED BURLEY LEAF TOBACCO

Effective immediately, the minimum prices per grade/kilo of Native (Dark) Cigar Leaf Tobacco for the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao and Quirino (Region II) are as follows:
HIGH GRADE (Primera, Segunda, Tercera Quarta Superior) MIDDLE GRADE M – 1 (Quarta Buena, Quinta Buena) M – 2 (Quarta Contrata, Quarta Corriente) LOW GRADE L – 1 – Quanta L – 2 – Sexta
This Memorandum Circular is being issued pursuant to the regulatory powers of the National Tobacco Administration under Executive Order No. 245 and after a consultative conference with all sectors concerned which was conducted on May 17, 1995 in Ilagan, Isabela.
All concerned are enjoined to observe strictly the aforesaid floor-farm gate prices of crop 1995-96 native (Dark) cigar leaf tobacco grown in Region II.
