ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER No. 77 -99

TO: PROPERTY OFFICES OF SUPREME COURT, COURT OF APPEALS, SANDIGANBAYAN, COURT OF TAX APPEALS, OFFICE OF THE COURT ADMINISTRATOR

RE: TRANSMITTAL OF INFORMATION ON ORDERS AND SUBSCRIPTION TO THE GOVERNMENT PURCHASES INFORMATION SYSTEM

To insure that in the purchase or acquisition of equipment, supplies, etc., through
bidding or other authorized procedures, the Supreme Court, the Court of
Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals and all other courts would
obtain or secure the most advantageous price and at the same time avoid
irregularities in the procurement process, you are hereby DIRECTED
to regularly transmit Purchase Orders to the Government Purchases
Information System (GPIS), GPIS Center, Commission on Audit,
Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.

In the meantime that the installation of the
required facilities in your units for access to the GPIS has not yet
begun or completed, as the case may be, you must forthwith coordinate
with the GPIS for the purpose, including, but not limited to the
availment of the personnel of the GPIS Center who shall give appropriate
instructions on how to operate the facilities and obtain access to the
System, or of the assistance of the Management and Information Systems
Office of the Supreme Court through its Chief, Atty. Ivan Uy.

This Administrative Order shall take effect upon its promulgation.
