By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:
SECTION 1. Subsection (i) of section one hundred and forty-two of Act Numbered Eleven hundred and eighty-nine, commonly known as the “Internal-Revenue Law,” is hereby amended to read as follows:
” (i) Merchants, peddlers, manufacturers, and small booth the gross value of whose quarterly sales does not S” exceed one hundred and twenty-five pesos.”
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
