DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 12 TO 18, 1948, AS AVIATION WEEK

WHEREAS, aviation plays an important role in
promoting the progress and insuring the security of the nation; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable that a widespread
interest in aviation be aroused among our people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Eipidio Quirino President of
the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby
designate the period from December 12 to 18, 1948, as Aviation Week, and enjoin
all government officials and employees and all citizens of j the Philippines to
lend their full cooperation in the observance of this week.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 19th day of
November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-eight, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the third.
