PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 222, June 20, 1973
EXTENDING UP TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1973, THE DEADLINE FOR THE FILING OF INDIVIDUAL DECLARATION OF THE TRUE VALUE OF REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the deadline fixed under Presidential Decree No.
76, dated December 6, 1972, for the filing of individual declarations on the
true value of real property is June 30, 1973;and
WHEREAS, there has been widespread clamor for the extension
of the deadline as fixed in said Decree for the reason, among others, that many
assessors have not completed the evaluation of properties in their
jurisdiction;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the
Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution as
Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines and pursuant to
Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and General Order No. 1, dated
September 22, 1972, do hereby extend the deadline for the filing of individual
declarations of the true value of real property fixed under Presidential Decree
No. 76 from June 30, 1973 to September 30, 1973.
Done in the City of Manila, this 20th day of June, in the year of Our Lord,
nineteen hundred and seventy-three.
