ISSUANCE OF CLEARANCE FOR RETURN SHIPMENT OF IMPORTED RAW MATERIALS

Clearance for return shipment of imported raw materials covered by Certificates of Availability (CAs) and Release Certificates (RCs) issued by the Bureau of Customs from May 5, 1992 should be secured from the Bureau of Customs. This is in view of the transfer of GTEB’s import monitoring function to the Bureau of Customs which took effect last May 4, 1992.
However, for return shipment of imported raw materials covered by Certificates of Availability (CAs) and Release Certificates (RCs) issued by GTEB until 4 May 1992, approval thereof shall be secured from GTEB.
