Please be informed that the Philracom Board in its meeting held on March 23, 2001, resolved to amend the following Sections of the Horse Racing Rules and Regulations which will now read as follows:

SECTION 4.0    COMPOSITION OF THE BOARD OF STEWARDS — The Board of Stewards shall be composed of the Chairman and four (4) members who shall be licensed and accredited by the Philracom, a majority vote of the Stewards shall be necessary for a valid act, ruling or decision of the Board, x       x

In case of incapacity of the Chairman and/or any member during a particular racing day, the Racing Club shall designate any Philracom Steward, and in case of his absence, a licensed Cadet Steward present, to fill up the vacancy.

SECTION 7.       PHILRACOM RACING OFFICIAL AND CHIEF RACING OFFICER — There shall be a Philracom Racing Official and Chief Racing Officer (Chief, Field Inspection Division) who shall perform the following respective duties;”

SECTION 7.1    COMMISSION STEWARD — A Commission Steward is an officer/employee of the Philracom licensed as a steward who shall serve as an observer during the deliberations of the Board of Stewards.

This will take effect immediately.
