TEMPORARY EXEMPTION OF TH SERVICE FROM THE COVERAGE OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 99-011

The Board on June 22, 1999 issued a Memo Circular on Passenger
Accident Insurance Requirement for a PUV Operators in order to give
added insurance protection to their passengers, TH operators on the
other hand, requested that since they are not catering to passengers,
they be exempted from the coverage of the said Memo Circular.

Accordingly, the Board hereby temporarily exempts TH operators from
the coverage of Memorandum Circular No. 99-011 while their request is
still being studied by the Board.
All issuances, or parts thereof, inconsistent herewith are hereby
superceded, revoked or modified accordingly. This Memorandum Circular
takes effect immediately.
