Pursuant and subject to the provisions of Section 6, subparagraph (i) and (j) of Republic Act No. 5186, the importation of vinyl-asbestos tiles shall be allowed only upon certification of the Board of Investments of the inability of BOI-registered domestic enterprises to supply the demand for the product. Henceforth, all applications for the importation of vinyl-asbestos tiles either through letters of credit, documents against acceptance or open account arrangements or my other node of payment shall be supported by the abovestated certification.
For immediate implementation.
