Acting on the recommendation of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), the Department hereby APPROVES to modify Paragraph 7 of Department Order 97-1097, dated 29 September 1997, which now reads:
: Bus, Mini-Bus, Coasters : Without fixed route to and from place of work : Ordinary or Airconditioned : Approved by LTFRB
: Compliance with all the requirements Prescribed by LTFRB :
: Special transport of employees and Homeowners Association members only No Picking-up and Dropping-off passengers between the Designated Termination points
Accordingly, the LTFRB is hereby directed to formulate guidelines for the implementation of this Department Order.
This amendment shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation and filing with the University of the Philippines Law Center.
