PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 394, February 26, 1974
APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P2,500,000) FOR THE OPERATION OF THE TASK FORCE ON HUMAN SETTLEMENTS
1973, a Task Force on Human Settlements was created to conduct a study
on the nature, policy issues and strategies related to a comprehensive
and integrative human settlement program in this country; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to appropriate the necessary amount
to carry out the purposes and objectives of the Task Force on Human
Settlements;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the
Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution as
Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and
pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and General
Order No. 1, dated September 22, 1972, do hereby order and decree:
SECTION 1. The sum of two million five hundred thousand
pesos (P2,500,000) is hereby appropriated as operating funds of the Task
Force on Human Settlements out of any funds in the National Treasury
not otherwise appropriated.
SEC. 2. This Decree shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of February, in the
year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-four.
