BFAR FISHERIES ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 143-1, December 15, 1989
AMENDING SECTION 2 OF FAO NO. 143 BY ALLOWING EXPORTATION OF LIVE PRAWNS (SUGPO) OF NOT MORE THAN SIXTY (60) GRAMS PER PIECE FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS
“Section 2. Exportation of live prawns ( sugpo) — The
exportation of live prawns ( sugpo) except fry/fingerlings and spawners
thereof shall be allowed for a period of six (6) months from the
effectivity of this order, provided it shall not be more than sixty (60)
grams per piece packed in waterless container/s and provided further
that the exporter shall secure a commodity clearance from the Director
of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources or his duly authorized representative
after an application therefor has been filed in an application form
prescribed for the purpose at least three (3) days prior to its
exportation. For such application and permit, a fee of one hundred
pesos (P100.) and five hundred pesos, (P500) respectively, shall be
collected.”
SECTION 2. Effectivity . — This
Administrative Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its
publication in the Official Gazette and/or in two (2) newspapers of
general circulation.
