PROCLAMATION NO. 1478, October 08, 2026
DECLARING SATURDAY, 17 OCTOBER 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SORSOGON
WHEREAS, on 17 October 2026, Saturday, the Province of Sorsogon will mark the celebration of its 132nd Founding Anniversary;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Province of Sorsogon be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Saturday, 17 October 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Sorsogon.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
